Safer Futures Trauma Services have been in operation for over 25 years. We specialise in working therapeutically with children and young people who have experienced trauma through sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, or those displaying sexualised behaviours.
We also work with children and young people who have experienced trauma through domestic abuse, bereavement, bullying, neglect and emotional abuse, and online harm. Our work has and always will be seeking to understand children and young people, support them with the impacts of the trauma they have experienced, help them recognise their strengths, begin to be kind to themselves and realise their huge potential. Support is also available to parents/carers, and a range of assessments provided for Local Authorities and Court, to assist in robust decision making and improved outcomes for children and carers.
We provide specialist bespoke training and consultancy to support and develop the skills and knowledge of multi-agency staff.
